European BEST Engineering Competition (EBEC) is one of the biggest engineering competitions in Europe organized by the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) in over 30 countries. Which after selecting the best team from the region, compete with each other in the European final.
For over 14 editions, students have been using their practical and theoretical skills to solve real engineering problems of an interdisciplinary nature.
Teams of four compete in one of two categories.The first one is Team Design – a treat for DIY enthusiasts. The task is to design and build a device that will respond to the presented technical problem with its functionality. The next category is the Case Study, in which the participants have a theoretical problem from the technical and business plot. The competition tests the ability to think analytically.
